I mounted 3/4 electrical conduit compression connectors (rain and concrete tight) on the distal ends of the legs, which accept the 3/4 dowels for the adjustable legs. The dowel is capped with a 3/4 cane tip. Like the Mark II, you get about 16 inches of adjustment.
