I screwed the 5/16 hangar bolt into a short piece of 3/4 dowel, and used Oatey Putty to mount it in the end of the bamboo leg. Interestingly enough, Home Depot sells the Waddell mounting plates, but it did not have the hangar bolts. And OSH sells hangar bolts, but it did not carry mounting plates. Collusion or just confusion?
